Vaccination Week starts Saturday

PARENTS WHOSE CHILDREN’S immunisations are not up-to-date or who may be unsure are invited to attend any of three outreach activities scheduled for Saturday, April 22 to have the immunisation cards checked and children vaccinated.

To mark Vaccination Week In The Americas 2017, which runs from April 22 to 29, the Ministry of Health will be providing immunisations to children and adults at Massy Supermarket, Warrens, St Michael; Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, St Michael and Emerald City, Six Roads, St Philip. The events will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Parents are reminded to bring their children’s immunisation book or green card.

Activities for the week will also include a church service at People’s Cathedral on Sunday, April 23 at 10:15 a.m. and open days at all polyclinics from Tuesday, April 25 to Thursday, April 27. (BGIS)
