Fogging schedule for May 2 to 5

THE VECTOR CONTROL UNIT of the Ministry of Health will continue its fogging programme next week, in an effort to reduce the mosquito population on the island.

On Tuesday, May 2, a team will head to St Lucy to spray Greenidges, Retreat, Animal Flower Cave, Higginson Road, North Point, Hope Development, River Bay, Spring Hall and the environs.

The following day, Wednesday, May 3, fogging exercises will take place in the St James districts of Clermont, Meadow Ville Heights, Crystal Heights, Hoyos Drive, Long Champ Drive, Sea Grapes Avenue, Gynor Gardens, Clermont Terrace, Park Drive Warrens Crescent, Welches Grove, Prior Park, Clover Crescent and surrounding areas. 

On Thursday, May 4, fogging will continue in Christ Church in Providence, Pilgrim Road, Coverley, Sand Drive, Coverley Tenantry, Coverley Terrace, Hythe Gardens, Welches, Ashby Land, Oistins, Oistins Hill, Scarborough with avenues and neighbouring districts.

On Friday, May 5, the St Michael districts of Warrens, Regency Drive, Clermont Terrace South, Clerpark, Clermont Close, Clermont Gardens, Clerview Heights, Hinds Hill, Husbands Development, Airlie Tenantry, Reservoir Road and the environs will be sprayed.

Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter. Fogging will take place between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. (BGIS)
