A HIGH COURT decision on the future of the proposed multi-purpose sugar facility at Andrews in St Joseph could come within the next three months.
Before that, attorneys involved in the substantive court case that led to an injunction preventing the start of the project last year will head back to court on Wednesday. They have agreed to the matter being determined by the Supreme Court via written submissions, instead of oral arguments.
This was after a number of adjournments had left the matter in limbo.
The substantive case against the Chief Town Planner and the Attorney General was brought last year by Emile P. Elias, owner of more than 8 000 square metres of property at the site of Andrews Great House.
