Fourth man charged in teen’s murder

A FOURTH MAN has been charged in connection with death of teenager Ajay Ricardo Smith.

Lerent Ramon Forde, 28, of Bourne’s Land, near St Christopher, Christ Church, appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today.

The unemployed man was not required to plead to the charge that between May 23 and 24, he murdered Smith.

The matter was transferred to District “B” Oistins for June 30.

On June 3, three Christ Church men appeared in the same court on the same charge.

They were Shavar Theodore Ward, 28, of Hopewell Road; 29-year-old Lamar Diego Akked Holder, of Pegwell Boggs, and Undre Emerson Hassani Thompson, 31, of Chancery Lane.

The body of Smith, 19, formerly of Sayes Court, Christ Church, was found on the hard court at St Christopher on May 24. (TKS)
