CRANE RESORT ST CATHERINE cruised into the final of the BCA Sagicor General Twenty20 Competition with a comfortable eight-wicket win over Home Improvement & Hardware Supplies Maple tonight.
Maple won the toss, elected to bat and were held to 122 for seven off their 20 overs by the disciplined St Catherine’s bowlers at Kensington Oval.
Veteran left arm spinner Derek Bishop took three wickets for 11 runs from four overs while Kemar Roach (44), Dominic Drakes (35) and Shane Parris (30) were the main scorers.
St Catherine, given a solid start compliments openers Omar Phillips (41) and Shamar Cooke (36), comfortably erased the target with 2.4 overs to spare.
They will play Sagicor UWI in Friday final. UWI beat Wanderers by six wickets in Monday’s first semi-final.
