Happy ending to wedding dress saga

A TRIP TO Manhattan to buy her US$2 500 dream wedding dress almost ended in tears for Malissa Blackman.

The 36-year-old had to shell out over US$2 000 after she was duped by a fraudulent Airbnb host who posted a fake apartment for rent in the heart of New York.

But when all hope seemed lost, the New York Post newspaper helped her trip to end in bliss rather than misery.

Blackman told the WEEKEND NATION she planned to pick up the wedding dress for her November wedding during her visit to the United States between June 20 and 25. (AD)
