ANDERSON BUSBY is now a free man after a murder charge against him was discontinued yesterday.
A letter from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions announced the dismissal of the case against the 27-year-old of No. 3 White Hall, St Michael.
Though no written reason was given for the dropped charges, defence attorney Roy Hurley said the evidence was suggestive of self-defence.
Busby was remanded on the murder charge on October 26, 2012, when he appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court. The matter was heard before Magistrate Graveney Bannister, who remanded the accused to HMP Dodds. (TKS)
