THE Barbados Licensing Authority needs a complete overhaul.
That assessment has come from president of the Barbados Road Safety Association (BRSA) Sharmane Roland-Bowen, who believes there are too many deficiencies at the state-run agency.
Roland-Bowen raised the issues as she and several other supporters staged a silent protest outside the Licensing Authority’s Pine, St Michael, headquarters yesterday morning.
Just after 7 a.m., the seven-member placard-bearing group lined up outside to begin their protest. And among the association’s main grouses is the need for a standardised driving test. (RB)
