Fogging schedule August 14 to 18

THE VECTOR CONTROL UNIT of the Ministry of Health continues its fogging programme next week to rid the island of the Aedes aegypti mosquito.

On Monday, August 14, areas to be sprayed in St George are Cottage Tenantry, Hillview Drive with Avenues, Fairview Heights with Avenues, Superlative, St Judes, Rock Hall, Logan Road and environs.

On Tuesday, August 15, the team will be in St Thomas fogging Shop Hill, Shop Hill Tenantry, Grand View, Hampond Tenantry, Vaucluse, Nazarene Gap and environs.

St Michael will be targeted on Wednesday, August 16, specifically White Hall, White Hall New Development, White Hall Tenantry, Johnson Land, Hinkson Land, Green Hill with Avenues and surrounding areas.

The team returns to St Michael on Thursday, August 17 to fog Lodge Hill, Lodge Terrace, Lodge Crescent, Emerald Drive, Sapphire Drive, Pearl Drive, Eden Lodge, Middle Lane, Eden Lodge Housing Area, Austin Drive and neighbouring districts.           

On Friday, August 18, areas to be sprayed in St Thomas will be Cane Garden, Emerald Drive, Peach Court, Platinum Avenue, Sunflower Drive, Hibiscus Close, Canewood Road, Cane Garden Park and environs.

Fogging takes place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. (BGIS)
