Not fair to mums

A GROUP called Access For Fathers is being launched next month to fight against what is being termed “deadbeat mums” who are denying men the right to see their children.

But two gender organisations have thrown cold water on the reference, saying it was not in their vocabulary.

The term has taken off on social media, and the issue was even ventilated on a recent Brass Tacks call-in programme.

Social activist Kammie Holder has been one of the most vocal on the issue and is behind a petition on Facebook, where several men have been sharing their experiences. (YB)
