A Barbados Labour Party administration will reintroduce free university education for all students at the University of the West Indies and remove the National Social Responsibility Levy.
So said chairman Dr Jerome Walcott as the BLP held a Press conference at its Roebuck Street headquarters moments ago.
He said a BLP will deal with several pressing matters during its campaign leading up to the May 24 General Election, with the economy topping the list.
In contrast, Walcott said he expected the Democratic Labour Party to run a salacious campaign to divert public attention from their “mismanagement”.
The chairman fielded questions from the media on a range of issues including vote buying, same sex marriage, relations with China and fixed term limits for leaders. (NB)
