Several candidates contesting the May 24 General Election are paying their deposits to the Treasury today.
First out this morning were Democratic Labour Party candidates Donville Inniss (St James South), George Connolly (St James Central) and Harry Husbands (St James North.).
Other DLP candidates were expected to pay their $250 as the morning went on.
Members of Solutions Barbados led by Grenville Phillips II were also at the Treasury’s temporary office at the National Housing Corporation in Country Road, St Michael to fulfil their obligations ahead of the polls.
Lynette Eastmond’s United Progressive Party is also expected in the afternoon.
Some DLP candidates are scheduled to make their payments on Thursday and Friday while the Barbados Labour Party is expected in Country Road on Thursday. (NB)
