Junior national midfielders Niall Reid-Stephen and Nathan Skeete starred as defending champions St Leonard’s Boys and Combermere advanced to next week’s final of the Barbados Secondary School’s Under-19 Knockout Football Competition.

Reid-Stephen scored a first half hat-trick for the boys from Richmond Gap as they defeated The Alleyne School 6-1 in today’s first semi-final at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex. Akil Layne, Raequan Jones and Kyle Blader also got on the score sheet for St Leonard’s while Jaheim Neblett netted the lone goal for Alleyne from the penalty spot.

In the other semi-final, an own goal by defender Malik Rawlins and a brace from Skeete were enough for Combermere to beat The Lodge School 3-0 and book a spot in the final. (AGB)
