Shanta ready to Throw Wine
Shanta Prince is bringing some Throw Wine visuals for her fans.
A Crop Over release she is happy with the concept of the video that was released today.
“The song was written by Jason Shaft Bishop and produced by Dwain Antrobus. It is my first video and I am so excited. It was shot by KeDrew Media and Nathan Mack, who was the director, cinematographer and editor.
The song is about girl making that connection in a party with a guy. She goes away and he tries to find her.
“It was a colourful shoot. And lots of fun to do. I had all my friends there. REI Fashion Academy did my make-up, my hair by Marvellous Faces. The dancers, One Movement,and the Beach Bar at Batts Rock for the location.”
Shanta said this year she had more on her plate with her going back to school and juggling work and music also: “It was all about time management,” she said, chuckling, adding she passed her programme.
“The response to my music this year was phenomenal. I also did Put It On Me, Winner and For Nuttin’. It was definitely busier, especially with me under new management of South Central. My experiences are just a stepping stone for further advancement.”
The petite singer, who always had some crazy hair colour, will be performing today at the concert in Jubilee Gardens.
“I have a Boxing Day show to perform at with some young musicians that I will be collaborating with also in the future.”
The singer said she is grateful for the fan support, especially on social media.
“My fans have always been there. They show me love and I am grateful for that.” (NS)
