The Barbados Water Authority has restarted all of the stations with the exception of Haymans which is still experiencing technical issues.

In press statement issued earlier today, the BWA explained, the stoppage followed a power outage in the north of the island which affected its stations at Alleynedale, Half Acre, Lamberts, Ashton Hall, Whim, Haymans, Warleigh, Lancaster, Apes Hill, Ozone, Haggatts, Carlton, Mt. Stepney and Prospect.

The BWA said, “We will continue to work to ensure that the water supply is restored to all affected customers.  However, persons are reminded that it may take some time for the water to fully recharge.

“As usual, BWA crews will assist any customers suffering outages via water tanker as a temporary measure.” The statement added. (PR/KOB)
