Bands moving past Eagle Hall

Date:

Share post:

They are moving slowly, but several bands from both Warrens and Codrington have passed Eagle Hall.

And Barbadians are out in their numbers to watch the colourful spectacle that is Republic Bank Grand Kadooment.

The heat and humidity at Eagle Hall gave way to showers, but that has not deterred those who came to watch. They are lining both sides of the road and many people have their umbrellas up, trying to beat the weather.

There is a heavy presence by the Royal Barbados Police Force and are reporting an incident-free Crop Over to date.

They are also doing a great job managing traffic flow in the area in between bands, so there are no back-ups at the traffic lights.

Revellers are heading to The Mighty Grynner Highway via Black Rock. There will be an after-party at Kensington Oval. (KB)
