Barbados cannot afford to deal with crime and violence now while it is already suffering under COVID-19, says Reverend Dr David Durant, who is begging people to put down the guns and accept Jesus.
The leader of Restoration Ministries was officiating at the joint funeral service of Daile Sutton, 42, and her son Keno, 24, who, along with 23-year-old Kyle Parris, were shot and killed in their home in River Land, St Philip, on May 14.
“I am begging the youth of our nation to refocus, respect your fellow man and think of the future, of an uplifting career. There is hope, you just have to believe you can do better. We are already struggling with a pandemic, tourism is down, the economy is down, we cannot afford this!” Durant said Wednesday. (CA)
