A grudge from schooldays that had apparently been festering for more than a year spilled over into a fight when former students happened upon each other at Browne’s Beach.

When it was over, three teenagers were hurt and the two who confessed to injuring them were placed on bail pending a pre-sentencing report after they appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court.

Renero Trequan Carrington, 18, of Burke’s Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael, and Jacobe Jamali Holmes, 18, of Knights Road, Brittons Hill, pleaded guilty to assaulting Tristan Gill, Daniel Whinfield and Malachi Rollins occasioning them actual bodily harm on July 5.

Prosecutor Constable Victoria Taitt, said the three complainants were at Browne’s Beach when they encountered Carrington and Holmes. (HLE)
