One more tests positive for COVID

There was one positive case of COVID-19 among the 259 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Saturday.

The 26-year-old Jamaican female came from her country aboard Caribbean Airlines yesterday.

Her case brings the number in isolation at Harrison Point, St Lucy, to 18, and the total cases recorded in Barbados to 179, comprising 93 females and 86 males. 

The number of recovered persons remains at 154 and there were seven deaths.

The laboratory has completed 18 464 tests. (BGIS)
