The Ministry of Health and Wellness said a 27-year-old male visitor was the only positive COVID-19 case recorded out of the 398 tests conducted yesterday.

The visitor, who arrived on an American Airlines flight on November 23, tested positive on the second test.  He was asymptomatic.

There are now 19 people in isolation, as no one will be released today.

This new case moves the tally of confirmed cases to 276 – 142 females and 134 males. Recoveries remain at 250.

Seven people have died.

To date, the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory has conducted 47 036 tests. (BGIS)
