Witness recalls being shot
One moment he was talking to some men at a shop about God; the next a masked man was pointing a gun at him and shooting him in his side.
“Everything just give way. Ten thousand volts went through my legs and I just went down,” witness Michael Abbott recalled yesterday.
Abbott was one of two witnesses who took the stand in the shooting trial of Andre Omar Jackman, Kaeron Sylvian Moore and Shane Hakeem Omar Babb in the No. 3 Supreme Court. The other witness was Forensic Scenes of Crime photographer Constable Dwayne Alleyne.
Abbott recalled he was at Nookie’s Hideout, around 4 p.m. on September 30, 2018, talking to “the youngsters about the Lord”. (HLE)
