COVID-19 vaccination schedule September 22 to 25

The schedule for administering vaccines is available for the remainder of the week.

Building No.2 Harbour Industrial Park, St Michael, will open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Four vaccination centres will operate on Wednesday, September 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

They are: The Masonic Centre, Salters, St George; Christ Church Parish Church Hall, Church Hill, Christ Church; Mile-and-a-Quarter Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mile-and-a-Quarter, St Peter, and the Sharon Moravian Church Hall, Sharon, St Thomas.

Clients may also visit the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, at Warrens, St Michael, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., or The Glebe Polyclinic, The Glebe, St George, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The community engagement sites will be located at the Springer Memorial School, Government Hill, St Michael, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; St Mark’s Resource Centre, Blades Hill, St Philip, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and the United Holy Church, Bath Hill, St John, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The mobile unit will be at the Black Bess Community Centre, St Peter, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The following centres will operate on Thursday, September 23: Princess Margaret Secondary School, Six Roads, St Philip; the Masonic Centre; Christ Church Parish Church Hall; Mile-and-a-Quarter Seventh Day Adventist Church. They will open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There will be pop-up clinics at the Mount of Praise Church, Tudor Bridge, St Michael, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Flat Rock Housing Area, Flat Rock, St George, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The mobile vaccination unit will be at Colleton Playing Field, St Peter, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Friday, September 24, the Masonic Centre and Christ Church Parish Church Hall will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Vaccinations will also be administered at: Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church, Jackmans, St Thomas, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.; St Catherine Cricket Club, Bayfield, St Philip, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Mahaica Playing Field, Speightstown, St Peter, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and St Gabriel’s Chapel, Featherbed Lane, St John, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

On Saturday, September 25, the Masonic Centre will open from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will be two pop-up clinics in Bridgetown at National Heroes Square and the General Post Office, Cheapside, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Maria Holder School, Gemswick, St Philip, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Additional clinics will be located at St George Secondary School, Constant, St George, and Codrington College, St John, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., as well as at Rock Hall, St Thomas, and St Bernard’s Primary School, Lammings, St Joseph, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All three vaccines – AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Sinopharm – will be available at all of the listed sites. Students 12 to 18 years may visit any centre or pop-up clinic to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

People who wish to receive their first dose are advised to present their identification card. Those eligible for second doses should also travel with their blue vaccination card. (BGIS)
