COVID-19 vaccination schedule for Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16

Health authorities said Date Tree Hill Bar in St Peter and Carter’s General Stores in Lower Estate, St George on Friday, and Sagicor global headquarters in Collymore Rock, St Michael, and Manor Lodge Complex in Lodge Hill, St Michael on Saturday will host venues mobile pop-up COVID-19 vaccination sites.

They will be among the venues that residents may visit as the Immunisation Unit of the Ministry of Health & Wellness continues its effort to get the population vaccinated against the viral illness that has so far claimed 108 lives in the island.

All four mobile pop-up sites will operate between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday respectively.

Community engagement sites will also be operated at a variety of locations over the next two days.

On Friday:

Lanterns Mall in Hastings, Christ Church from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Eden Lodge Primary School in Eden Lodge, St Michael from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pickwick Sports Club in Foursquare, St Philip from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and

Weston Resource Centre in Weston, St James from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

On Saturday:

National Heroes Square in the City from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

G4S Secure Solutions in Brighton, St Michael from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and

St Joseph’s Primary School in Bowling Alley Hill, St Joseph from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Immunisation Unit said the main vaccination centre at Building No. 2, Harbour Industrial Estate, St Michael will open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

In addition, vaccination centres will be operated out of five locations on Friday:

Princess Margaret Secondary School in Six Roads, St Philip from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Eunice Gibson Polyclinic in Warrens, St Michael from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Alexandra School in Speightstown, St Peter from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Masonic Centre in Salters, St George from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; and

Christ Church Parish Church Hall in Church Hill, Christ Church from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Only the AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccines will be available to adults, 18 years and older.

The Pfizer vaccine will now only be administered to young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who may visit any vaccination centre or site to be innoculated.

Anyone going to receive their first dose of a vaccine must present their national ID card to the public health personnel at the vaccination centres and sites.
Those eligible for second doses must bring their blue vaccination cards.
