Mass casualty at Prospect

There is a mass casualty at Prospect, St James, where two minibuses have collided.

Emergency response personnel from the Barbados Police Service, the Barbados Fire Service, the Emergency Ambulance Service and the Barbados Defence Force are on the scene.

Tents have been set up in the road to assess the injured and the area is closed to vehicular traffic.

Motorists should use alternative routes.

The incident occurred earlier this morning.
