As a result of smoke emanating from a large fire in the environs of St Philip, four schools in St George are now closed.
They are St George Secondary, St George Primary, Ellerton Primary and Workman’s Primary.

Classes at these institutions are expected to resume on Monday, March 20, following  assessments by environmental health officials.Earlier, it was announced that St Stephen’s Nursery School in Black Rock, St Michael, would be closed today to facilitate the rectification of an identified environmental concern in its environs.

The Lodge School, St Jude’s Primary and Cuthbert Moore School all reopened today. (PR/SAT)
