Gun fire to be heard next week

The public is advised that on Sunday, July 9, there will be a rehearsal by the firing squad for the State Funeral of the late Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Sir Lloyd Erskine Sandiford, at the St James Cemetery.  Gun shots will be heard during the exercise.

In addition, on Tuesday, July 11, during the rehearsal for the State Funeral, and on Friday, July 14, the day of the State Funeral, gun firing will take place in the Speightstown area, between 12:25 and 1 p.m. (BGIS)
